How do I set warnings for overspeeding drivers?

Setting up warnings for overspeeding

Road safety is essential for any road user. Through our rule system, it is now possible to raise flags in the ride report in case of speeding. Read on to learn how to set this up.

  1. Go to LocalisationRules.
  2. Create a new rule.
  3. Fill in the rule name, description and priority order.
  4. For Event Trigger, choose the new "New GPS/Tracking Log Stored".
  5. Set the Check Conditions to "Check all of the following conditions.
  6. Set the Frequency to "Trigger the rule unlimited times".
  7. The Variable should be set to "GPS Maximum Speed"
  8. The Operator should be set to "Greater than or Equal to".
  9. In Value, enter the max speed in the area you are active in.
  10. Under Action, choose "Create Job Flag".
  11. In Value, Type the message that you want to appear in the created report.

Checking speeding in booking reports

To monitor any raised flags on speeding, please follow the next steps.

  1. Go to BookingsSearch.
  2. Find any booking that you want to check the average speed of.
  3. Click on its Job ID and then on "View Job" to open the job.
  4. Go to the bottom of the page, to the Booking Reports & Flags section. Any flags on speeding should be shown here.
Other ways to check booking reports

There are two other ways in which you can check reports in jobs. You can go to ReportsManage, or you can click the exclamation mark on the top of your portal.
