Can I use the Customer API to build a full app or website?

The Customer API is designed for basic integrations and is best suited for lightweight tools or apps. It is not intended for building a complete dispatch system or full-featured web portal.

The Customer API allows users to:

  • Create bookings
  • View the status of current or recent bookings
  • Get a price estimate
  • See available vehicle types

It uses the same login details as the mobile or web app (mobile number and PIN) and does not require any approval or API key.

What you cannot do

The Customer API does not support:

  • Accessing sensitive data such as customer records or pricing rules
  • Modifying bookings after submission
  • Custom workflows, automation, or dispatch control

If you need these capabilities, consider using the Internal API instead.
