Do I need to enable data roaming for my eSIM to work?
Yes - enabling data roaming is absolutely required for your Gazoop eSIM to function correctly.
Gazoop eSIMs rely on international roaming agreements to connect to the best available network in your area. If data roaming is turned off, your device will not connect to mobile data and the eSIM will not work at all.
To turn on data roaming:
- Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > your eSIM > Data Roaming and toggle it ON.
- iOS: Go to Settings > Mobile Data > your eSIM > Data Roaming and toggle it ON.
If you're not sure which SIM is your eSIM, check under SIMs or Mobile Plans and look for the one matching your Gazoop eSIM label.
Note: Enabling roaming does not incur extra charges with Gazoop eSIMs - it is a required setting for the eSIM to work properly.
