What are the four Customer Account Types?

Customer account types explained

There are four types of customer accounts you can assign when creating or editing a customer:

  • Main/Parent Account: This is the main account holder responsible for paying invoices on all account jobs.
  • Sub/Child Account: Linked to a parent account. Jobs are charged to the parent unless the child chooses to pay by cash or credit card.
  • Public Account (POI): Allows general public bookings. The default pickup address is the customer’s saved address.
  • Gazoop Network Partner: This is used for fleets that send jobs to your company through the Gazoop Network.
Choosing the right account type

Make sure to select the correct account type depending on who is financially responsible and how the customer will book rides.
