What are the optional information fields when adding a client?

Optional fields when creating a customer

When creating a customer, you can optionally configure the following fields:

  • Default Fare: Choose the fare type to apply (e.g. default fare or hailed fare).
  • Default Driver: Assign a preferred driver for this customer. Jobs will be soft-allocated to them when possible.
  • Generate Invoice: Set how often invoices are generated (e.g. after each job, end of day, every week, or use global policy).
  • Invoice Due Date: Choose how soon the invoice should be due (e.g. 24 or 48 hours, or custom number of days).
  • Invoice Preference: Choose the level of detail shown on the invoice — full, partial, or none.
  • VIP Customer: Optionally mark this customer as a VIP and assign them a color tier (standard, blue, red, green, or orange).

All of these fields are optional. You can create the customer without setting them and update later if needed.
